Guest Lecture: NYU Khoisan Languages Seminar

Thanks to Chris Collins for inviting me to give a guest lecture in his Khoisan Languages seminar at NYU.

I took the opportunity to share some ideas that I’ve been kicking around about PGN markers, DP coordination, and semantics; along the way, I got to present some new data that I find very surprising and exciting. Thanks to everyone in the audience for engaging with the simply massive quantity of data I threw at you — I know the presentation wasn’t the most structured, but I hope you got something out of it nonetheless! Thanks especially to Chris, Phillip, and Paloma for pushing back against some of my analysis; you’ve given me much to think about.

I’ve put up a handout here.
